The Cornell LII publishes US law, including Supreme Court decisions, the US Constitution and Code, federal rules and regulations, and internet-accessible state laws.

As the first legal information institute, the Cornell LII is often called simply “the LII.” However, many other LIIs have been founded worldwide since the LII was launched in 1992, kicking off the Free Access to Law movement.
