Suffolk University Legal Innovation & Technology Lab
Associated Innovators
The Suffolk University Legal Innovation & Technology Lab, led by David Colarusso, is a companion to the Institute on Legal Innovation & Technology. The LIT Lab “allows students to work as part of a consultancy and research & development (R&D) shop focused on legal tech and data science work.”
The LIT Lab’s portfolio includes a collaboratively built legal tech class textbook, the Coding the Law course, Spot, an AI that spots legal issues, and Court Forms Online. The LIT Lab is also now home to Colarusso’s chatbot tool, QnA Markup, and his audience survey app, CrowdQueue.
Disclaimer: I am nominally a member of the advisory board of the Suffolk University Institute on Legal Innovation & Technology, although the advisory board has not met in years.
